Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Nov 01, 2010 10:09 am Hi, I live in Adelaide and have not been able to decide between Caeserstone and Granite and my son in the states said everyone there is using polished concrete. I have rung two companies who won't ship to Adelaide because of the breakage rate! So my question as a first time poster.... is..... has anyone had them in Adelaide and are you happy with them. Thanks, great posts! posting.php?mode=post&f=16# Re: Polished concrete bench tops SA 2Nov 01, 2010 5:36 pm I personally wouldn’t want concrete delivered / freighted in case of breakage and having to wait for weeks for another one. Polished concrete tops have been around for a while here in OZ, I’m surprised the states are just getting into it. Look locally for a supplier. http://www.hotfrog.com.au/Products/Benchtops/SA Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Polished concrete bench tops SA 3Nov 01, 2010 6:39 pm beyond Hi, I live in Adelaide and have not been able to decide between Caeserstone and Granite and my son in the states said everyone there is using polished concrete. Ive been to Fu Tungs workshop, id say they ship more counters out than construct on site. either methods have thier positives and negatives , its going to cost you more than Caeserstone and Granite Re: Polished concrete bench tops SA 5Nov 02, 2010 6:27 pm If you're the DIY type, there's a few YouTube's on building your own concrete benchtop, a client had one built for his BBQ area and also a Day Bed, looked great ..I've contemplated (procrastinated ) doing the same.
