I would like to use Mocha wood grain laminate in the kitchen with 2 pac natural white. The cabinet maker says I have to have handles on the wood grain because he does not have a machine to make the shadow lines on the laminate.
Is this the norm ?

Re: Cabinet maker no can do ! 3Oct 11, 2010 10:53 pm consider a different kind of grip. I have laminate and no handles. not a shadowline 45 degree cut on the laminate but still a steamlined look. the handles are sitting on the cabinetry instead of the doors. in the old kitchen we just had a recess built into the cabinetry, and this was a cheap laminate kitchen. so it can be done, but it sounds maybe like the cabinet maker has a limited ability to look at other options? (we found that when researching cabinet/kitchen makers to do our kitchen, some were very limited in what they could/would do). good luck!
