I would definitely NOT recommend Polytech kitchens. We had ours installed over 7 years ago, but not much more than that. (warranty only extends 7 years we found out after contacting them). We had the kitchen done by Newcastle Kitchens (which isn't in business any more). It was not a cheap kitchen and the polytech doors are lifting all over the place. The panels around the island bench are all lifting, loose, one panel has completely lifted off, just hanging by a thread, we have resorted to sticking it together with stickytape. Not good. Would not touch this product. Looked great when first done....... but you would expect a kitchen to last longer than this one has.

What do you mean by polytech? As a company name, or a particular product of theirs?
Personally I don't expect any product to last much longer than its warranty. I assume we will need to renovate our kitchen 10yrs after putting it in.

7 years is a standard warranty, you don't see any longer than that. I do understand your frustration at the longevity of the product but if it is just the surface covering of the doors and cabinets you should be able to have them redone or finished with some other option?
