The PM is gonna sub contract the electrician and plumbing required to remove and install all the appliances and the cabinets. Guess was hoping they'd do cabinets + appliances in one go but now looking at it they might have to do the cabinets first and then install the appliances on another day? ps: your girl looks very cute Re: Installing glass splash back behind rangehood 4Sep 03, 2010 2:12 pm The glass needs to have holes cut into it where the rangehood fixes to the wall before it is put through the hardening process; this is best done by hanging the rangehood where you want it then taking it off the wall so the splashback people can make a template of exactly how the (finished) piece of glass will look. Whoever hangs the rangehood needs to make sure they allow for the thickness of the glass going behind it if they cut any holes in the ceiling for ducting before the glass is up. If it is hardwired then sure the sparkie needs to do it, if plug in then anyone can do it. My range hood is a large feature one, as opposed to the small under cabinet type and it is a plug in jobie.
