I am about to have a kitchen installed however the company has now informed that they are unable to make my pantry cupboards & a broom cupboard as 1 single panel door (w 400 & h 2250) - they say it needs to be cut in half otherwise it will warp.
Does anyone else have this product & is it cut in half? I would like to check the manufacturers specifications but do not where to obtan?
There standard size cupboard is 2150- which is still cut in half.

2250 is getting up there in length but 400 isnt very wide.
Is it laminate/chipboard/melemine/etc... or MDF?
Not sure if it makes a difference but i had 18mm MDF doors around this height and ~500 wide on my bedroom doors in the last place, i can't remember if i went 4 or 5 hinges and i think i had magnet clasp top and bottom.
Come to think of it i have had similar sized laminate doors as well and never had this problem. Provided you have enough quality hinges i can't see why it would be a problem at all, for a door 600 or less in width. I think you would have more problems from the ammount of weight pulling on the top hinge so it will pay to use decent hinges and maybe upsize the screw mounting it to the unit.

We have done doors up to 2400 high and 600 wide in 16mm Melamine...no problems as long as there are enough hinges.

Agree with Ryalls_first_build. Solar panels are aftermarket retro fitted all the time. If you had problems fitting them to a new build then they didn't build your house…

Hi, I'm planning to install solar panels and build a pool with a heating pump. Does it matter witch one I get done first? Or maybe there is a logical sequence? Thanks
