Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Help - Mirage commercial style kitchen mixer taps 4Aug 24, 2010 11:46 am I have pretty much the exact same one however got mine from eBay. Works perfectly and looks fantastic. However be warned they are huge - as in tall!!! plus they can splash water about if not careful. If you go to my house thread you will see how high it stands up compared to my raised servery / upstand. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Help - Mirage commercial style kitchen mixer taps 5Aug 24, 2010 1:49 pm Oh wow, your kitchen is fabulous! You are right about the height of the tap I can't believe it's sooo tall! I don't even have a back off the sink like you do. Unfortunately due to a sleight of hand I've already purchased the tap (long story). Now I have to think about a deep sink... do you think this oliveri sink will be ok?? http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/oliv ... myshopping Thank you Kyton. Re: Help - Mirage commercial style kitchen mixer taps 6Aug 24, 2010 6:20 pm My sink is from the US but the same depth (undermounted the depth is 25cm). You have to have a light touch on the lever of the tap otherwise it will splash when you turn it on full force. That was the reason for the upstand part of my kitchen bench - to stop any water splashing on the front section. Some things are worth waiting for. Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included. My hesitation… 0 24690 The Dulux colour consultants are awesome. If you show them the photos they should be able to figure it out for you straight away 1 1609 You never have a fridge against wall as you’ve drawn. The doors can’t open past 90 degrees and it’s difficult and maybe impossible to remove drawers 2 15586 |
