Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Aug 15, 2010 11:47 am In the past I have met people who confessed they had some sort of water taps obsessions or fetish as they spent heaps I mean heaps of money in fitting the best taps possible in their baths and kitchens. A friend in the plumbing trade says he is not sort of clients who have spent up to $2000 for a tap, surely he charges them accordingly too.
Anyone heard stories like or similar? Re: Water taps obsessions 2Aug 15, 2010 8:19 pm Why is it we will happily spend that coin on a tap and when it comes to a sprinkler will chuck in any old rubbish? Why is it that water devices about the home have to meet certain standards but when it comes to the garden we can use anything in an unregulated way? Sprinklers don't have to meet any standards! I dunno really my dear dad and I had this discussion and I asked him about quality over BLING as he workis in plumbing too he said you can ALWAYS find a comparable product cheaper and sometimes of HIGHER quality than the EURO taps from products made here in Australia SWMBO and I have already decided money is better spent on things that will save us money in the long term so things like shading over windows, insulation , solar etc With those savings I can then splurge and get my shiny SHINY things I went outside once.
