I Know this one has been done time and time again, but I am very confused and a little upset, as I had always imagined a caesarstone/essa stone benchtop and now (boo hoo) the budget has been stretched to breaking point and I am having to make some tough decisions. I have a rather large kitchen - my island is only about 1.6 m, but I have another bench that is about 2.4 and another that is about 4.5. I would love waterfall edges, of which there would need to be 3, so add another 3 metres to this, I guess. 11.5 lineal metres, give or take??
I am wondering how much (approx) per lineal metre the following surfaces are:
Good old laminex
Diamond gloss laminex
Caesarstone/ essa stone etc
I have heard/read that caesarstone is about $500 per lineal metre. Is that right? And do the costs include installation?
I am looking for good news here!
Even thinking of getting cabinetry by builder and doing bench tops after handover.
Onc, if you're listening, can you get polished concrete that is whitish? We are having grey tiles (would have loved polished concrete floors, but building on a slope, so no slab).
Thanks for your help - hope you can make my day!!!
