I can't remember what the price difference was but it was definitely a fair bit cheaper than a glass splashback. We had it in our kitchen for 2 years (recently sold) and I did have one small mark in it where someone must have hit it with something sharp but it wasn't very noticeable. Actually I think I was the only one who noticed it because I cleaned I don't have a close up pic sorry but here is a pic the realestate took. As you can see it looks very similar to a glass splashback.
