Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jul 16, 2010 7:57 pm Hi all Its nearly time for to decide on my kitchen bench colour. I definately like the white colours. I thought Cesear Stone bought out some new colours, does anyone know the names of those colours? Or can anyone recommend a good colour to go with white gloss cabinets? Thanks love to hear some suggestions Extending & Renovating Re: Cesear Stone - white colours 2Jul 16, 2010 8:23 pm Hi We went for snow with white gloss cabinets/drawers. Would have loved (can't remember the name) pure white but builder wanted extra $3000 (on top of $7000 upgrade) which we could not justify. Re: Cesear Stone - white colours 4Jul 16, 2010 8:30 pm We were going to use Organic White but it is a premium colour so we are now having Ice Snow in kitchen. Would have cost lots more. Check out my thread as the kitchen from the display has Organic White. Pge 2. Kay A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. I have just about managed to get pre-wiring for speakers in the house, but I am still not allowed to buy speakers - feature wallpaper is coming first. One day...... haha, honestly... it's the ONLY thing in this entire house that he has chosen. I've pretty much chosen everything else.... i just let him have the benchtop colour because he actually had an opinion for a change (rather than "whatever you want, Bek"). and I agree with your Mrs - the feature wallpaper is a MUST, and mine will also be coming first, prior to any "speaker" system!!! Re: Cesear Stone - white colours 9Jul 17, 2010 12:29 am Hi We were having issues with picking a colour for our CS benchtops so we took a run into the CS showroom in Alexandria (84 Riordian St - I think - its on the back of the colour giude). They were very helpful, gave us any samples that we wanted, and were happy to leave us alone to look at the stone slabs for as long as we wanted. It's amazing how different the CS looks in the slabs as opposed to the small samples that you are given from kitchen places. It helped us make our decision and there were some samples in the showroom that I really liked by I thought were awful in the colour guide. Also there is parking on site so it is really quite easy to get there. Hope this helps. Good luck with the decision. Would have loved (can't remember the name) pure white but builder wanted extra $3000 (on top of $7000 upgrade) which we could not justify. We went with CS Pure White in our kitchen as well as our ensuite - it was extra on top of standard CS colours as it is in the 'premium' bracket (probably being a new colour) - and as SuH said White Shimmer is new too - came out after pure white..... Have been to CS at Alexandria before but just took another trip back in and get some more samples. The new colour I was trying to pinpoint is White Shimmer and it has replaced the old Nova Aurora apparently. In the brochure says it is a premium colour but the lady in the shop assured me it is just the standard range and a misprint in the brochure. Will wait until the cupboards are all put in before I make my final decision but will have to narrow down to about 3 colours I think and just pick from them. Thanks all been very helpful. As soon as I work out how to put pictures up I will. Extending & Renovating Re: Cesear Stone - white colours 13Jul 17, 2010 11:08 pm We went with White Shimmer, it cost more than other CS colours when we were getting quotes, but it is gorgeous! I love the sparkles in it!! I also like that it is not a pure white. It is white with fine grey flecks, and I like how it contrasts with out pure white cabinets. Huge white kitchen in 2pac vivid white, L shaped, 5m of tall cupboards (broken up by huge stainless fridge) and 6m of side bench (going to have two lots of glass splashback) and 3m bench with waterfall. I did see the white shimmer sample and its very stylish in a not too bling sort of way but I'm afraid its going to be TOO white (although I do have jarrah floors n stainless appliances). Does anyone have thoughts on osprey with white? A friend had this with her white 2pac and it looked gorgeous, although she had travertine floors. I know its an oldy but I guess its must be a goody as its still around.... I'd like to know what others think too as I already looked at everything (about a million times) and need to get it out of my system soon! BTW Those are stunning kitchens n bathrooms you guys have there! Thanks for the pics, always great to see things in real life. Re: Cesear Stone - white colours 16Jul 25, 2010 9:05 am We just had our White Shimmer benchtops put in. Love the colour, apart from an issue with the cut we are very happy Have a look at my thread below- pics on page 4 or 5.
