Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jul 15, 2010 2:59 pm I chose to have clear on white splashback, I liked it when I chose it. I liked the freshness and lightness of it. DH really liked it. Now after reading so many threads on H1, so many of you say you don't like it. I'm second guessing my decision. Help, I'm starting to freak out, I need some reassurance, I can't change now, it will be in any day now. Does anyone have clear on white and like it?
This is the kitchen I got my inspiration from, I walked in this display and loved it: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: I think I regret my decision! 2Jul 15, 2010 3:05 pm I was going to have clear with our wall colour when we were going to build with Metricon. And I was going to have orange on the back of the island. I looked into it, and it was only going to cost a couple of hundred to change the Laminex colour when I got sick of it. Don't doubt your decision, you will have so much scope do add whatever you like with accessories, etc. If you find after a while you need a splash of colour, add it to the back of your island. It still gives the same effect, just in a different area. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Re: I think I regret my decision! 5Jul 15, 2010 3:26 pm I like the white on clear glass it's simple and fresh and gives just a splash if colour. It's gorgeous, I've seen it in the flesh, it looks like a fresh breeze or a splash of water from the ocean stuff like that Re: I think I regret my decision! 8Jul 15, 2010 3:44 pm I don't think you can go wrong with something so fresh, clean & simple looking!!! Thank you to each and everyone of you, Joles, kyton, onc_artisan, suh, Melly03, Bek, and Karry327. I was just having a melt down , again, I did this just before my tiles went on, and now I love those. It is one of the most difficult things to do, to choose your colours, you have to live with them for a long time. I appreciate all your comments. Re: I think I regret my decision! 10Jul 15, 2010 3:59 pm And why wont you love it again? If you loved it then you will love it again in a few days. Stop second guessing yourself. As Joles said change the colour on the back of the island bar or acessorise with brighter colours if you need changes later. You will be fine. As they say it looks clean and crisp.
