Not anymore!! 43Sep 07, 2010 10:15 pm Oh yes the moving is the worst thing ever. We would like to build again one day. Kind of sad it's all over as there is nothing to look forward to. It was exciting to see taps and plaster and cornices and new things done to the house. Now anything new that happens to the house like gardens we do and organise...no surprises. lol. I do clean alot though especially the kitchen. White is simple yet stunning. Re: I think I regret my decision! Not anymore!! 45Sep 07, 2010 10:58 pm Just beautiful. Really is. Dee, it's so good!! Apart from the cooking aspect and actually being able to simmer and not burn the food on simmer. It's so wonderfully easy to clean a quick wipe and it's done. AHHHHHHH.... LOVE IT!!! I've got one too! Had one in my last kitchen and was soooo good I had to get one for this house. Definitely halves cooking time! Re: I think I regret my decision! Re: I think I regret my decision! Not anymore!! 59Jan 26, 2011 10:16 pm brb_654 Thought I better re-visit this thread. I'm in my home now and I don't regret my decision at all. It's easy to live with and I do love it Panicked for nothing http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad92/barbs68/Moved%20in/house367.jpg GASP! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I presume this is the starfire/low iron glass? I had a 'clear' glass splash-back in another home and was very happy with it, but I would go the starfire next time. I love the green tinge (I refer to it as 'old Coke bottle'), but it is a colour after all, and not entirely neutral. A friend has the starfire in her all white, Hampton's style kitchen and it looks beautiful (which is a big statement from me because I'm a modern girl all the way . Cue elevator music... Just had another look - is it the under cupboard lighting throwing me off? Oh well, either way, I STILL love it. I hope you are enjoying your kitchen! Re: I think I regret my decision! Not anymore!! 60Jan 27, 2011 7:55 am Thanks MissyP, I really am enjoying my kitchen, there's lots of space and being the hub of the home we spend a lot of time in it I just had a look at the contract, it's natural glass, so no, not starfire!! Either way I'm still loving it!! No. It's not original.
