Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jul 13, 2010 11:28 pm Hello again, Another question in the lead up to the final decisions for my kitchen. Currently we have specified a Polytec Melamine door in New Antique White in sheen finish, but I am now wondering if the matt finish would be better/ easier to maintain. Has anyone installed a melamine/laminate door in a sheen finish and have there been any drawbacks?? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for your time KK Re: Polytec Doors - Sheen or Matt - opinions? 2Jul 14, 2010 7:03 pm Hi You can order free large samples straight from the Polytec website. They are super quick with mailing them too. I think I received mine within 2 days or so. We got polytec vinyl wrap and I went with matt over texture finish - the samples helped in determining which finish to choose. With your samples you'll be able to work out which you prefer and what will suit you better. Thanks again KK Re: Polytec Doors - Sheen or Matt - opinions? 4Jul 14, 2010 9:35 pm I have classic white gloss laminate... snack to keep clean (a little windex and my cupboards are gleaming)! Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets. Looking at the Boston Oak ones, it appears that the colour varies significantly… 0 9181 I asked this question of one of the forum's resident cabinet makers who may/may not wish to identify himself to answer other questions if he sees this, but the rersponse… 3 7731 we have a standard size and often we have a lot of variety to choose 0 3578 |
