Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jul 11, 2010 2:01 pm Hi all After 6 weeks and 1 day (not counting) we finally have a operating kitchen. Its just gorgeous. But i am so frightened to scratch the bench top. Its Qstone pure white engineered stone. White lacqured drawers. We only have overhead cupboards and one set of cupboards under the sink. Rest are drawers. Sure i wont but just paranoid. I have a tea towel on the bench for dirty dishes to sit on. When put a cup on the bench to make coffee it goes on a tea towel. Am i nuts lol Just have to stop picking up the kettle and going to the laundry for water. Yep i have done it twice. And have to find the right fridge. Cabbie is coming back friday to fix the intergrated fridge. Some type of problem so doors havent been attached. But i keep going to it to get the food. Nothing in there. Like everyone else my operating fridge with food is in the middle of the dining room Just love my new kitchen. Will post pics when i get a chance and work out how to do it. Oh here is a tip for those of you planning a kitchen with drawers. We did three equal size drawers only to discover things like tupperware and electric frypan are too tall. Grr. Make top two drawers same size and bottom drawer deeper. Now onto the bathrooms.
