In which case it would depend on the brand, not the fact that its intergrated. Although some brands dont offer intergrated with all their washing functions Custom European Cabinets - Melbourne Kitchen Specialist PM for business details as website currently being updated! Our Crazy Owner Builder Journey! Re: fully intergrated dishwasher 3Jul 04, 2010 6:38 pm A fully integrated dishwasher is exactly the same as a free standing dishwasher (insides). The only difference is that an integrated dishwasher requires a panel (matching your cabinet doors) to hide it away. Re: fully intergrated dishwasher 4Jul 05, 2010 9:07 am It is slightly different to a non integrated dishwasher in that the operating buttons are not on the front on the machine, they are usually on the inside upper rim of the door panel. We have semi integrated which is a nice balance, the door panel matches our cabinetry but the control panel of the dishwasher is still visible. Either way, there should be no difference in operating performance, it is only a cosmetic difference. Re: fully intergrated dishwasher 5Jul 08, 2010 4:26 pm i had a fully integrated. Loved it, although no visible nidicator if it was on, i think the F&P have a little 3 button and led light which can be instaleld in the front which i thought would have been nice, although it wasn't a deal breaker you could put your hand against the door to tell if it was on. I hate the stainless steel look and our kitchen was open plan so to hide it away was great. I still want an integrated fridge in my next build .... Re: fully intergrated dishwasher 6Jul 11, 2010 10:54 am We have put a F&P twin draw dishwasher in one of our rental houses when we renovated and I think it looks great. It has the buttons on the outside (just 3 small ones) and they don't retract from the look. The tenant has been happy with it so far. I can prob find a picture somewhere if you want to see it. I also had the twin draw at the house I have just moved out of and I loved it. (not the intergrated model tho) So the only benefits you get from an integrated is the looks. So depending on what look you are after for your kitchen will define what dishwasher you get IMO. Re: fully intergrated dishwasher 8Jul 11, 2010 11:10 am Hi Suh, I have used both, but I find that the tablets dont totally dissolve so you can get 2 washes out of them. They do work well tho The only prob you might have is some of the tablets are too big to fit into the detergent draw but the ones I used where fine. My dishwasher repair man has told me you should only use around a teaspoon of powder in any wash and any more is just wastage. Which is why I dont use tablets And thats all I use now and he is right the dishes are still just as clean with a tiny bit of detergent. He has told me that a lot of the problems with dishwashers are caused by too much detergent. I love love loved my dishdraw and I miss it already I am living at my Inlaws ATM and they have a standard dishwasher and I dont like it at all. All that bending to get dishes is YUCK hahahaha I have been spoilt all these years!!!!!!!!! Only thing I would do different is I would have 2 seperate drawers set side by side rather than one under the other as I found we hardly ever used the bottom drawer.( Bad back) Cheers Janet Re: fully intergrated dishwasher 10Jul 11, 2010 11:28 am Mine was an older version so maybe they have changed the style of the dispenser????? Cose I was able to fit some/most of the tablets in there. Just remember if you are using powder that the dishdrawer is only 1/2 the size of a normal dishwasher and add powder accordingly would hate for you to have a bubble overload Let me know what you think of your drawer after you have used it. Like I said I loved mine Cheers Janet I am installing a new Bosch SMU4HTS01A built under dushwasher. I have 2 questions. What is the function of the metal strip about 500mm long x 60mm wide the tell you to… 0 2716 |
