Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 30, 2010 7:36 pm Hi Everyone Please forgive me for possibly asking one of the most dumbest questions there is to ask as I have zero idea I really dislike the color of my kitchen cabinetry, Although as it has a "Glossy" finish (Two-Pack) it does not look too bad but just not to my taste. Is it at all possible instead to have the cabinetry painted another color? rather than me having to change the whole kitchen? Thankyou Re: Dislike the color of Kitchen cabinetry 2Jun 30, 2010 10:28 pm For a DIY option you can use laminate paints - I have never used them before and I have no experience or not much knowledge of them other than the fact that I know they are available. I believe there are 3 stages to the process - a priming coat, the colour coat and then a clear coat - I think it's available from Bunnings and other hardware stores. I'm unsure if you can take them to a cabinet maker/kitchen place and get them resprayed? Hope this is of some help!
