Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 27, 2010 2:41 pm Hi there, new member here. I'm looking for some help from some users that have experience with 2 pac painted kitchen cabinet doors. If the doors are painted using 2 pac satin paint, will the paint finish be smooth and flawless or will there be some lumps (bubbles, whatever) in the paint now and then? Is it typical to have no lumps or paint imperfections on a door, or would there be a few now and then? I've never seen a brand new car with lumps in its paint. Is a kitchen cabinet door usually flawless in this regard as on a car, or is it normal to get a few paint flaws here and there? Thanks in advance. Re: lumps in 2 pac satin paint on cabinet doors? 2Jun 27, 2010 5:56 pm it is hand paint with a spray gun so there might be some imperfections. Cars can have imperfections too sometimes however they are redone until they are ok, this is the case even with brand new cars.
wrt you door I would not expect to see them if your not actually looking for them. Can they be buffed out? The question is really how bad are they? The gap can be adjusted so it's tighter. You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors. 2 13532 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7140 |
