Hi,
Looking at installing a black kitchen sink as a new addition to our yet to be renovated kitchen.
Just wondering, scratch resistant sinks - where would I find them? Hmmm?!
Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Scratch resistant sink 2Feb 05, 2006 9:33 pm Consider this to be your lucky day Kara. The Sink Warehouse has what your looking for. Try this link for theAmadeus granite sink. They are made of granite and you cannot scratch them. Take a fork with you to the showroom if you don't believe me. They will even let you 'scratch' it yourself. Re: Scratch resistant sink 3Feb 13, 2006 10:35 pm Great site you've referred me to, as they do stock just the type of sink I'm interested in.
There is one small problem...they don't seem to have suppliers of their sinks here in Sydney. Do you know of good showroom in Sydney - city preferably, or metro - that might stock what I'm after. Hope I'm not asking too much. Karz Peace, Kara Re: Scratch resistant sink 4Feb 13, 2006 10:42 pm Hey Karz,
I used to deal with the Sink Warehouse in Drummoyne (they also sell Aga ranges) 112 Victoria Road Drummoyne NSW 2047 Tel: 02 9719 2400 Fax: 02 9719 2433 That was over a year ago. I don't know of anyone else in Sydney. Sorry Generally, the texture that you listed will have a 2mm size stone chip in it which is dragged with float to give the lines Any patch work needs to be 2mm less than face… 2 1826 Have had stone benches with undermount sink (kitchen) and drop-in (laundry) and top-mounted basin (bathrooms) for coming up 13 years and not one chip/scratch of any kind.… 2 9678 |
