Please help, our kitchen splash back was installed not the way we want it, and now the builder hesitated to replace it.
we had this kitchen glass splash back installed about 3.7m wide
Before the builder installed it, we requested verbally to SS not to have the joint near the stove, SS said no issue with that.
In fact, now builder installed it just on the edge of the stove. (which consist of three section, one long section on the left hand side of the stove, then small section for the stove, and another long section on the right hand side of the stove)
now it left us with a choice to accept it or to dispute it.
when i spoke to SS, SS said, this is according australian building standard.
However, to our frustation, on the first place, we don't want to have the splashback near the stove.
now builder is very hesitated to replace it.
Can anyone recommend what we can do ?
What's the longest /maximum glass splashback can go ? is it possible to have full glass 3.7m wide?
much appreciated for the feedback.
thanks guys
