Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 22, 2010 1:56 pm Hi, I have a couple of burn marks approx size of a 50c piece on a soft kitchen laminate benchtop, just wondering if anyone knows of anyone in Sydney who could repair this without having to resuface the entire bench? I read somewhere it could be resprayed from a bathroom resurfacer who uses a marine filler or similar to fill in burn. They then sand it flat, prime it and then spray it with a special acrylic glass finish paint. I've called a few companies in Sydney but they are no longer doing this kind of repair work. There's a company in NZ that looks by their website www.benchdoctors.co.nz that they can do it. I called them and while they are looking to open up a store in Sydney later this year, I need someone today. Thanks in anticipation of your responses. cheers Berny ----------------------------------------------------- http://serenityattheponds.blogspot.com/ I am not a brick expert, but rendering would be 1 option, it would be costly to do the entire house though.... 2 6683 Last year I had a gas leak at my house. 3 days later, I have about 1 sqm of my exposed aggregate paving broken up.
