Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 17, 2010 9:36 am I'll start by saying that we are not building with McDonald Jones Homes but very nearly did. I absolutely love the kitchen in one of their display homes - Warnervale Display - Beachside Grande Manor Elite. I cannot post a picture as the website won't allow me to save the photo however it can be found here http://www.mcdonaldjoneshomes.com.au/templates/McDonaldJonesHomes_display.aspx?pageID=48&albumid=14 starting at picture 41 - 46. If you're building with McDonald Jones, would anyone be kind enough to possibly find out the colours used in this display home's kitchen? I know it's a big ask however we have our colour selection appointment next Tuesday and I'd be eternally grateful Alternatively, if you're really cluey in this area, any idea on colours they've used or similar? The island bench looks similar to Lustrous Elm on the base? Have you tried phoning the display office and asking them? Sometimes you can get someone nice but then again from my experience with McD-J not always Some things are worth waiting for. Re: McDonald Jones Home Builders - can you please help? 3Jun 17, 2010 4:55 pm Thanks so much for replying Kyton. No, it's the Beachside Grande Manor Elite under the Warnervale Display Homes. When you click on the link, the flash player shows a series of photo's for 3 houses - the kitchen I like is in pictures 41 - 46. I can only save the picture as an Adobe document but can't manage to link it onto here. Sooo frustrating I can't put a direct link or photo Building an Eden Brae Saville 27 http://karry327.blogspot.com/ Building thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=44247 Re: McDonald Jones Home Builders - can you please help? 4Jun 17, 2010 7:29 pm Karry is it the island bench laminate you are after, or all the colours? I just had a look at the pictures, and it seems to change color In some of those pictures it looks grey (in the later pictures) and the others it looks more browny? Have you seen it in real life? How on earth did you do that? I'm not a complete computer dummy but I just couldn't get the pics off the website!!!! Yes, that is the very kitchen! It appears the island bench is different to the bench at the back. Looks almost olive?? I love all the colours and wouldn't mind doing something similar. Thanks Bel for your suggestions, some nice colours there. So, what does everyone reckon?? Its actually a white/cream colour in real life, where in the picture it is grey. We nearly drove right past it...
