Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Sep 21, 2010 6:48 pm I am looking at purchasing a sink with double bowl and 1 drainer and I need to know if it will fit my 800mm sink cabinet. The measurements are 350mm each bowl, but 1177mm wide icluding the drainer and 477mm from front to back. Re: Will this sink fit? 2Sep 21, 2010 9:05 pm The available internal width of your sink cabinet is 768mm. It's hard to be sure of the overall width of the two bowls without knowing the size of the gap between them, you really need to measure from one side of one bowl to the other side of the second bowl. The gap between the bowls probably won't be more than 60mm - unfortunately this dimension is frequently not included on technical documentation provided for sinks, so if you can't physically measure up the sink maybe you can ring the supplier or fabricator and ask them directly. Allowing for 100 mm between bowls, the sink cut out (benchtop cut out) measurement would be 800mm or less so yes it should fit.
