I use white vinegar neat...just tip a bit on a folded piece of paper towel and wipe over the bench...doesn't have to be too 'wet'. Sometimes I just dry with a clean cloth afterwards (if I've been a little over generous with the vinegar) ...and sometimes not. This morning I dried afterwards and got interupted half way through...went back to finish and it ws already dry and no difference to where I hadn't dried!!...so probably no need to do it.
