It is currently a lovely mixture of 80's fake woodgrain cupboards and orange laminate benchtops - including a lovely curved breakfast bar! We recently painted our whole house a colour called Scilly White - it is white with a yellowy creamy tinge - looking at it against the ceiling white though its too far off white to be called white, more of a cream colour. We have a raked ceiling in the kitchen and at its tallest I think it is about 5meters high, with a nice skylight which lets in lots of light. Our skirtings etc are stained wood. We want to renovate our kitchen for the purpose of resale, and are unsure what to do. White is probably the least offensive of kitchens but I think it would look wrong against the cream walls (we cant repaint because it would mean hiring someone again because of that high ceiling). If anyone has pictures of their kitchens with creamy type walls I would love to see them (I will look in "show me your kitchen too).. Would love any suggestions of colours for kitchen cupboards and benchtops that would look nice with creamy yellowy coloured walls!
