Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 02, 2010 10:06 pm Our kitchen is pretty much all white with polytec gloss white v/wrap cupboards and our colour scheme throughout is pretty much grey and white. We have chosen dulux teahouse as the splashback colour but now I am thinking I need to add a bit of colour.... possibly a dep red??? Yes? No? Any advice?? (Ignore nougat benchtop in this pic) This floor tile is also available in a smaller version with lines in it so you can grout it to make look like little 10cmx30cm tiles- this is also another option to the glass splash Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Thanks guys and gals!! Maybe you can stay with greys, but just a bit lighter shade?? London Fog or Grey Tassel?? Reds are fab (Zoom Red especially) ... What's the name of that lovely floor tile? And size? Is it porc or ceramic?? My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Re: Help with Splashback colour please!! 3Jun 03, 2010 12:02 am Sounds like your entire house selections are very similar to mine =))) We don't have the darker back panel in the kitchen, but other than that you're pretty spot on!! We've used essastone new basmati and high gloss white vinyl wrap, dark grey floor tiles. We are using a black mirror for our splashback. It is called "stopsol grey". Mine is calm grey but I know it is available in a Charcoal and a taupey colour too I think. It is a gorgeous tile.... I wish yours would hurry up so I can use you as inspiration My dilemma is that our colours are very grey and white so we are leaving it up to cushions and picures etc to add colour. Part of me wants to be a little daring and use a bolder colour on the splash but the other part of me says- keep it simple (and avoid a date stamp!)!! Your splash is going to look divine!! I (well, we all) got it from our dear Bel some weeks/months ago - it's only fair to share (mmmm, how good would it be if it rhymed in spelling too! like 'fare to share' or 'fair to shair' hahahaha ) My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Thankyou so much ๐ I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK ๐ 2 7170 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3273 |
