Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 21, 2010 2:22 pm Please help me whether this will go with our new house being built. I just can't find any nice dining table that is big enough to accomodate big guests... this one normally is 1600mm length but is extentable to 2200mm when needed it's marble price is just over 3k. I would have preferred if it was square form....but yea...other ones are just so expensive over...4-5k what do you guys think? do you like it?????????? PIC 4May 21, 2010 2:36 pm Oohh now I can see it. Re: Extension Marble dining table. Do you like this one? PIC 5May 21, 2010 2:37 pm I actually love it! I love that it curves! Better than being fully square. It makes it more sleek. Re: Extension Marble dining table. Do you like this one? PIC 7May 21, 2010 3:21 pm I love it! I love the colours. I think it looks really nice, without being tacky or overly done. It doesn't look "heavy" either. If you think it'll suit your interior then go for it. We love our lounge and even though it was alot more than what we wanted to pay-we shopped around and kept comparing it. It was alot cheaper than other places too and when we saw it we sorta just had to have it no matter what. Are you having tiles? Timber, carpet or other in the meals area? Re: Extension Marble dining table. Do you like this one? PIC 8May 21, 2010 3:24 pm We are having 600x600 porcelian tilies. it's salt and pepper off white colour.... we bought the lounges and etc already. black couch and white coffee table.. my kitchen will be mixed of high gloss red and white....maybe bit of dark brown too. bit worried whether it'd be too much of colour! Re: Extension Marble dining table. Do you like this one? PIC 9May 21, 2010 6:30 pm I have a marble dining table, its a shade darker than the picture. The stains are bad. I spilt apple and guava juice and mopped it up with paper towel and waited until after lunch to wipe clean with stone spray and cloth. Huge stain. Im sure you are aware it is porous but I just wanted to let you know it is VERY easy to stain. Marble tables are expensive and for what you pay you could get something AMAZING that will last and look beautiful for alot longer.. PIC 10May 21, 2010 6:59 pm thanks for your comment:) I actaulyl read some reviws on the table itself and mainly it was saying that it's very easy to wipe and no stains...etc I guess it's just like porcelian in a way...?
