When doing a quick walkthrough of our house the other day, I noticed a join in the kitchen benchtop. It's just laminate (nothing fancy!) and a straight side with the stove top space in the middle. I haven't measured it but I think the entire length is approx 3600mm. Should we be able to get a single piece of laminate for this length? Is there a maximum? I would like to get my facts straight before the builder comes back to me and says "that's just the way it is love - can't go longer than xxx" The join to me is quite visible and spoils the look of the benchtop.
Thanks for any help,
Ruth
