Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 15, 2010 8:05 pm Hi everyone, My boyfriend and I are in the process of building our first house and its nearing the end so I am now researching all the brand new appliances I am getting Our fridge cavity is 850mm wide (including plaster and skirting boards) and the fridge I want is 800mm wide. On the site it recommends 30mm each side but we will only have 25mm. I am wondering if this will make a huge difference and if the fridge wont work properly or something without that extra 5mm each side! Do you think it will be ok or should I start looking around for another fridge? I really want this one cuz its 520L and the next smaller ones are 430 which is a decent amount smaller! Thanks in advance! Re: Will my fridge fit? 2May 15, 2010 10:40 pm It will fit, but with out sufficient air flow around the fridge the heat exchanger can not do its job properly and will burn out.
