Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 09, 2010 11:49 am Hi guys, Which product(s) will give me that timber-look finish for the kitchen cupboards? See attached pic. I know of only Laminex. Is a laminate durable enough in the long run? I've seen some (in restaurants mostly) that peel off on the edges. Second question: how much more expensive is it, compared to plain-white polyurethane finish? Thanks!!! Cost wise it's probably around the same as 2 pac finish, which are both a lot more expensive than laminate. The dark chocolate coloured look like what's in your pic looks like a wenge timber.
