How much should it stick out by to open the doors, and how much can it stick out by reasonably? Confused.... It is in a walkway area, so I don't want to block it off, but I don't want a teeny tiny fridge either Ours is 630mm deep and our fridge sticks out by 100mm (which is the door depth) and it goes all the way back apart from skirting. I actually wouldn't be able to open my doors if it were any further back due to the width of the space. Re: How much can my fridge stick out by? 3Apr 30, 2010 3:37 pm Well, that is good I suppose So we should probably allow for at least 100mm to stick out. I wish we had thought about the depth earlier! I want a fridge that would stick out by 200mm. I assume that is too much? So I am probably going to settle for 140mm, which is probably still a lot. Our CSR gave us those figures, and I think they might have been approximate, so I am hoping the depth is actually larger! But don't want to get my hopes up to much Lara and Joshua http://pdheywood25.blogspot.com/ viewtopic.php?f=31&t=31186 16.03.10 Scrape 29.03.10 Slab 08.04.10 Frame 11.05.10 Lock Up 03.06.10 Fixing 24.08.10 Handover Re: How much can my fridge stick out by? 6Apr 30, 2010 4:47 pm I think ours is 150mm and it's fine. It's also in a walkway area. I was worried about it too but it's just fine. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: How much can my fridge stick out by? 7Apr 30, 2010 6:44 pm Ours is 100mm (the depth of the doors) which looks good. Re: How much can my fridge stick out by? 8Apr 30, 2010 6:47 pm Alright, well we will have to get the exact depth measurements. I will probably allow up to 150mm. Wish we could have a bigger fridge!! But I'm not sure… 3 6163 I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 7550 7 12025 |
