Hi, has anyone done their own glass spashback in a new house, either using laminated or tempered glass, and what paint to use when rolling glass ?
Cheers, Brisbane member.

Re: Glass splashbacks 4Apr 30, 2010 10:41 am Yep that is exactly what we did in our first built home and then our rental. You just have to ensure that the paint is 100% dry before going anywhere near it with silicone. And always use tempered glass - don't try to use normal glass it will crack / shatter near any heat source. Some things are worth waiting for. Need to remove glass panel out of concrete without wrecking the glass to get the spa room in, any recommendations on how to do that. Thank you 0 39038 What do you need them to withstand? If it's normal wear and tear, then either will do, if you want resistance to ingress then laminated would be the favourite, but only… 1 12390 |
