Notice on the laundry kick board that there is a join where every door is. Re: lime green kitchen with style 4Sep 22, 2007 7:51 am How funny….I like the laundry.
((Notice on the laundry kick board that there is a join where every door is.)) Pre-fab cupboards? But I think the kitchen looks unbalanced! They should have put more of the lime green in, possibly splash back or feature draws. I agree But I'd only ever see it when visiting a friends place Re: lime green kitchen with style 6Sep 22, 2007 8:34 am Helen,
Are these your kitchen and laundry? They both look great. Is that polished concrete floor in the kitchen? Cheers, Casa Demolition August 2009, Construction Started September 2009, Completed December 2010 Re: lime green kitchen with style 7Sep 22, 2007 8:46 am Casa I was hoping you would look at these.
Look at the kitchen floor…..pretty sure its polished concrete! Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: lime green kitchen with style 9Sep 22, 2007 12:12 pm no they aren't my kitchen or laundry, so you can comment away without offence! i found them when i was browsing very expensive houses on realestate.com. I don't even have walls yet, let alone a kitchen or laundry. I can only dream at the moment!! Re: lime green kitchen with style 10Sep 22, 2007 12:47 pm Michelle How funny….I like the laundry. I think the appliance cupboard is too deep. I believe that if your going to run a benchtop under your appliance cabinet, then it should be set back 150-200mm. If you want it flush then run the benchtop into the side of the appliance cabinet. Re: lime green kitchen with style 11Sep 22, 2007 1:15 pm hi cutting edge, it is great to read your insights into the cabinets as i think we are all looking at them with very different eyes (if you know what I mean). when you say the applicance cupboard, is this the one second from the left? does this mean you think the benchop shouldn't go underneath this cupboard but stop at the right hand side?
thanks Helen Re: lime green kitchen with style 12Sep 22, 2007 2:44 pm MaylandsManor hi cutting edge, it is great to read your insights into the cabinets as i think we are all looking at them with very different eyes (if you know what I mean). when you say the applicance cupboard, is this the one second from the left? does this mean you think the benchop shouldn't go underneath this cupboard but stop at the right hand side? thanks Helen Yes, thats exactly what I am saying. Because the appliance cabinets is full depth (level with the pantry cabinet and bench top) I dont believe the top should run under it. If the appliance cabinet was stepped back then it looks good to run the benchtop through. Re: lime green kitchen with style 13Sep 22, 2007 9:40 pm Love the laundry. Love how they have boards covering over the hanging rail, gives me an idea for ours. Kitchen nice but nothing special. Re: lime green kitchen with style 14Sep 22, 2007 9:46 pm Law18 Love the laundry. Love how they have boards covering over the hanging rail, gives me an idea for ours. Kitchen nice but nothing special. I am hoping they are doors that cover the rail. Only draw back is that the doors could be damaged if your not carfull with the coat hangers. Re: lime green kitchen with style 15Sep 23, 2007 11:48 am Law18 Love the laundry. Nice feature, but I'm not sure about having the halogens just a few centimeters away from the hanging clothes. I so hate halogens. The laundry sink also looks a bit small, almost like a budget kitchen sink. I always think the laundry sink should be big enough to get a bucket into it. Re: lime green kitchen with style 16Sep 23, 2007 12:07 pm Re the laundry……wounder where the washing machine is??
I don’t see plumbing for it? I don’t see plumbing for it? I'm thinking in the cupboard to the left if that is possible but if that is the case the doors arent the ones that open and slide back into the cupboard so that would be painful. Re: lime green kitchen with style 19Sep 25, 2007 9:58 am Not in the cupboards…..unless there are two sinks or no suds return!
MY GUESS….its a European laundry! They hand wash everything, mostly. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: lime green kitchen with style 20Sep 25, 2007 10:06 am Nah, Michelle - they (we) wash their white cotton stuff at 95 degrees!
You are probably right though - European washing machines have all the piping (or whatever it's called) hidden, it's not above the machine. The Dulux colour consultants are awesome. If you show them the photos they should be able to figure it out for you straight away 1 1613 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6632 2 4680 |
