Re: Kitchen company - need to be HIA member? 2Apr 10, 2010 1:06 pm Not necessarily they can be members of MBA (Masters Builders Association) HIA and MBA are two top competing not for profit organisations which may offer some building accreditation (you'll have to research yourself what type of accreditation if any) because the mere membership to any of them does not offer you any kind of protection or guarantees but accreditation does. Then again it does not necessarily follow that a company or individual that is a member of the above will give you the best guarantees and finished job as against a brand new overseas co.
