AEG Appliances - Any good?

Sounds promising. Thanks for the feedback.

Their ovens, gas cooktops and rangehoods carry quite a price tag, so im hoping that translates into a high quality product. They're a division of Electrolux if I understand correctly.

Hi Mark, my mum used to work at AEG. When she worked there, they replaced all of her appliances with AEG ones. (Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher) They even stored her original appliances for her. It showed us that they wanted their staff to experience the AEG product so that when they dealt with their Customers, they spoke with both experience and knowledge on the products.

They have an exceptional name in the industry. The Pyrolytic range is supposed to be fantastic (self - cleaning ovens!!!!) If you lived in Melbourne, i would suggest wait for their factory scratch and dent sales, great savings to be had. We are buying new appliances for the new place and they are going to be AEG.

But for your own piece of mind, visit different stockists and ask their opinion. Must say they are not cheap though......

Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth.

You probably might not want to, but is it worth considering enquiring when the next sale is and making a trip down to Melbourne? Call head office in South Oakleigh, VIC if you are interested. Unfotunately, stockists do not discount the AEG appliances either, same story with Miele too.
Shame when you have expensive taste isn't it..... but i'm sure it will be worth it....

Isn't that a pain. Why can't they be more flexible.....

We're going with Electrolux, which is the same company as AEG, just not as expensive. We're still waiting on a prices from our builder for the appliances.
