Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Help in selectings Undersink filter. 2Mar 25, 2010 7:08 am I have the Aquapure AP9100 (I think thats it code). It connects into the cold line of your sink mixer. I've been happy with it and it comes with second cartridge for free. I also sell one called HiFlow a lot (brand could be Filters Australia?). Same set up as AP9100 that it connects to your sink mixer, except it has steel braided flexi's rather than plastic hoses. This one I'll be putting in our new house. Both have a life of up to 12 months depending on water quality and both eliminate the need for ugly filtered water tap at your sink. Possumchops Now the proud owner of 3.7acres of Serenity. It does seem to have a small effect on the overall pressure when the mixer is on "full" cold, but nothing significant. Sorry - I have nothing to compare against though - other than the old school separate filter taps (which are terribly ugly and slow). Re: Help in selectings Undersink filter. 5Mar 25, 2010 8:28 pm Guys, before getting filters - CHECK PRICE on replacement catriges!!!! I had AquaONE, end up removing it due to super expencive replacement catriges. Runing ONGA/PENTAIR filters now. Two stage is the best, segment + carbon is the way to go. You can go wit silver additive to kill bacteria as well, but this is not normally needed for town water. Re: Help in selectings Undersink filter. 6Mar 26, 2010 1:03 am We had a look in bunnings Aquaport cartridges are pretty expensive. Plus initially while installing you need to buy the tap and cartridges separately which does take fair amount of money , bunnings didnt have them as a set. Re: Help in selectings Undersink filter. 7Mar 28, 2010 6:26 pm I bought mine from here: http://www.psifilters.com.au/ Highly recommended...also seems to have a good reputation based on my web research. Re: Help in selectings Undersink filter. 8Apr 26, 2010 9:12 pm Hi there, just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of replacement filter costs for the mains under bench filters (the ones that filter all cold water coming out of the normal tap- I hate those little taps!). I think the ones mentioned here are aquapure and hiflow... Cheers! Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12510 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7158 |
