Lots of room for cocky's ect to crawl into. I cant see into my corner cupboard at all as it sits fairly flush. I had a problem with gaps on my island unit after the waterfall stone ends or the tradie that installed the stone, moved my cupboards to fit but hubby managed to fix it. There is a way to adjust the drawer fronts so maybe you can play around with that to move some of those gaps closer. Maybe the corner unit can also be adjusted. Re: Are these gaps to big? 6Mar 21, 2010 5:10 pm I think Southies is right.... also, the door hinges need some adjusting, which is usually done before handover anyway to make sure doors are straight (check out the height difference in the second photo). You can tell this as they arent aligned up the top in one of your pics. Re: Are these gaps to big? 8Mar 21, 2010 9:21 pm I am going to chase up the builder to see if all the adjustments have been done, it a concern as the gaps in the overheads and other cupboards are smaller there seems to be not consistancy. I have paid extra to have the laminate laid horizontally so they should have made the allowance for the extra material need. Even the cupboards in our crappy rental have smaller gaps and sit better.
