Previously had Laminex and also lived in a rental which had vinyl wrap - they were both fine but this time we wanted something special. So went with high gloss 2 pac with integrated handles for a clean seamless finish. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Vinyl wrap, polyurethane, PVC, laminate or hardform door 5Mar 16, 2010 2:52 pm If I didn't have a 19 month old I would have used 2 pac. Apparently it can be known to chip with rough treatment, so with bringing up kids nearby our kitchen manufacturer recommended vinyl wrap. We can always replace them down the track when the kid/s are older and gentler! =) Re: Vinyl wrap, polyurethane, PVC, laminate or hardform door 6Mar 16, 2010 3:43 pm Quote: If I didn't have a 19 month old I would have used 2 pac. Apparently it can be known to chip with rough treatment It is undoubtedly one of the things people always mention with 2pac.....but it's basically just paint, it is very easy to get repaired. We wanted white kitchen with a smooth, gloss finish with brushed aluminum abs edging to the doors. Didn't want to pay extra for vinyl wrap or 2 pac. Laminate has been around for a long time and my thoughts are that if it's been around this long it can't be bad, horrible product to have in the kitchen, bathroom etc. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ PCI Done Normally you use builders bog.
