After setting aside my day off to check out benchtops & look at display places, I have come home feeling very flat.
Initially I had decided granite was what I'd like, but have been steered away from it by several kitchen ppl. Same with timber. So am left with CS/Quantum, basically. Not that it isn't a great surface, just not what I had in mind. So have the brochures open here now contemplating.
Decided that at least I could select an oven (wall) so I can advise my kitchen ppl cut out size. Less than impressed by the sales ppl at Bing Lee & Harvey Norman that I spoke to. Was told by one salesman that the only difference between oven A & oven B was a couple of knobs, & if I thought that was worth another $200, then go for it. Cooktops? basically the difference, I was told, was some were 60cm & others 75cm.
Blind Freddy could see that. But the icing on the cake was when I asked for prices of the ovens to be wriiten down, that he pulled up the Westinghouse website!!!
