Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Kitchen bins for narrow spaces 6Feb 23, 2010 6:27 am toby What store did you find this is. I have just started thinking about kitchen and bin. What is ideal size cupboard to place a bin in and how much room to leave for bottom and top shelf. Does your bin slide out when door is opened or do you just pull it out. Cheers, toby. Toby, the name is Store: http://www.store.com.au/ Ideal size? Dunno...depends on what your needs are. Most systems I looked at needed 300-350mm. The other consideration is how much you want to spend. Some of these things cost a small fortune. If you want to see some options, have a look at the range Bunnings have on display. If one of those suits, you can pick one and make sure you have a cupboard made the right size to fit it. http://www.kimprod.com.au/waste.htm As for IKEA, unfortunately they had nothing suitable when I was looking - or if they did, it was never in stock and you can't order things. The Rationelle system looks good, but it's a pity that their locations suck. I can't just pop in to check if they have something when it takes me more than an hour to drive there. Thanks again for this information. If you do hear anything different, would be great to know 4 8242 dimensions on your original plan are inconsistent and with accurate dimensions (including site plan, upstairs and down) i could make a proper scale drawing with furniture… 3 7515 |
