I also understand that it may not suit the layout of the remainder of your kitchen but it maybe an option?? This is our layout minus some drawers which are getting resprayed. I never noticed before - the old kitchen (c. 2001) had a piano hinge on the bifold door. Re: Need help with this corner cupboard..... 45Feb 17, 2010 11:29 am Ahhh i see! Had Bi-fold in the old house too. After years of ware-n-tare it needed to be fixed because it seemed to sag abit...but maybe that was because it was a dodge job. Much better than the piano hinge and way better than what they are 'trying' to make me to do... Fingers crossed I dont get told off by my builder for all my questions. Still had very large access to them and I would say they were excellent. A friend of ours only had the bi-fold hinges put in their doors and after a few months their doors started to sag. I suppose the wholesaler needs to make 40% margin & the retailer 100% markup + GST. I've just come back from asia several weeks ago and bought all my kitchen storage solutions over there and posted them back so the cabinet maker can install them when the kitchen is being built. 2 x S/Steel pot drawers (90cm wide wide each) 2 x S/Steel corner units similar to the Hettich model 2 x S/Steel Pull out cupboard drawers (30cm wide each) 1 x S/steel Pull Out bin drawer. 1 x S/Steel pull out detergent drawer Grand total $800 plus $100 postage. I don't know how some people can afford the asking price of $800 for one corner unit ...would cost like 5 or 6k to be able to do everything most people would like to do. Will show some pics in a few months when the kitchen is going together. Have been thinking whether to set myself as a distributor for the brand as I know I can undercut the majority of the brands here easily from my analysis (my day job is product/brand management), whilst ensuring retailers make their margin. Still have some thinking to do first before deciding to proceed. regards Jason Re: Need help with this corner cupboard..... 53Mar 14, 2010 1:46 pm I've got the same problem with a corner cupboard.
