Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Dec 18, 2009 4:33 pm Hi All, I am looking to buy 4 bar stools for my breakfast bar but dont want to spend too much. Max around $100 each and need good value for money. * Can anyone suggest good shops in Melbourne to get great rates an deal.(Freedom,Harveys, DJs, Myer etc are too expensive) * Has anyone bought them online? Is Crazy sales.com.au reliable? (Not looking at E-bay though as I have never bought stuff from there so not very comfortable doing that) All opinions/ suggestions welcome.. Check out the link below ~ http://www.ikea.com/au/en/search/?query=bar+stool Even if you're not really close, it can be worth a trip because you can pick up some great bargains! Re: Buying Bar Stools- Help pls! 5Dec 18, 2009 8:37 pm What about Target? They have some nice things sometimes. If you want gas-lift stools, I'd be a bit wary of getting them off somewhere like crazysales.com or dealsdirect.com as the warranty often only lasts for 1-3 months. If the gas fails then you'll be stuck! Edit: Or do you have a Fantastic Furniture near you? They have some cheap stools: http://www.fantasticfurniture.com.au/De ... 111&Page=0 Re: Buying Bar Stools- Help pls! 6Dec 20, 2009 1:23 pm Too bad all of my bar stools stock is sold out. However, I suggest you to buy IKEA like someone posted above. I always love IKEA product and most customers also satisfied with their products.

I was at Ikea last week but then ones I liked were pricey However, I liked the crazysales deal for 4 @ 199 http://www.crazysales.com.au/4-x-design ... _p562.html Not sure if I should buy them from this website..any suggestions? Re: Buying Bar Stools- Help pls! 10Dec 21, 2009 11:50 am Dilla, So do you mean all adjustable height ones are gas-lift only? Thanks for the advice, it does make sense then to not buy online as 3 month warranty is a waste anyway dilla What about Target? They have some nice things sometimes.
