We bought a new stove 900mm that we are stuck with and having to change everything to suit. I wish i had found this site earlier but not too late since i have not signed final contract YET !! I would love to see my plans drawn !! See Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ - I have retained the stove, put 90cm under cupboard rangehood with handle-less white gloss cupboards running the full length . (removing glass overhead cupboards and changing the height of the last glasscupboard to match the rest of the cupboard height ) - I am planning to remove the aplliance cupboard and microwave recess for more benchspace and streamlined look (put microwave next to the dishwasher and remove the bank of 4 drawers ) - for the drawers along the stove, I am having 1 (300mm drawers ) and 2 big pot drawers under it. That would be 3 sets of 3 drawers on right hand side of the stove and 3 sets of 3 drawers of left hand side of the stove. All the drawers have long handles - under the island, i have microwave recess with drawer under it, then dishwasher and normal cupboards . What I am having is 40mm waterfall Q-stone ice pearl (same as ice snow CS), frothing mocha splashback behind the stove and under the island as well, with jovian sink mixer and undermount sinks. What I am unsure is about the rangehood, since i have a stove should I do glass canopy rangehood? , stove ( i am worried it will stick out like a sore thumb with the set-up i have in mind ) and the appliance cupboard that i am planning to remove ... should I or shouldn't I also would the splashback under island be an overkill? I tried the software by myself ... didnt get anywhere ... SO it would be MORE than great if I could sneak peak my kitchen and have a peace of mind after that !!!! Thank you soo much in advancee!! Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 174Aug 30, 2012 9:11 pm Hi all I have been away for sometime and have missed this little pastime However I'm back for a while so I'm going to offer once again to draw up peoples kitchens First in first served:) If you need a kitchen drawn up, post it on this thread - gotta give me a couple of days though:) viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26892 Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 175Aug 31, 2012 4:49 pm Oh score. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw you were back. I'd love some help if you would be so kind. The architect has drawn up a plan for the kitchen but to be honest its more of a placeholder for where the kitchen should go than it is a real design. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ A couple of points of note: I am a fan of having an island rather than a 'U' shaped kitchen, but not sure if I want to extend the kitchen along the top (eastern) wall to make the most of the space. We will have a 900mm oven and cooktop and a 1 3/4 sink in the island (along with dishwasher and microwave). As for colours, we're leaning toward white cupboards with a grey midtoned caesarstone top (eg urban or seattle sky). All the overhead cupboards probably handle-free. To some extent this is a blank canvas so any thoughts or designs you care to share will be very gratefully received! Please feel free to PM me if you need any more information or details. edit: you might not be able to see all the details on this (sorry for the crappy pic. I will upload a better one when I'm at home if needed. PS Those rectangles in the middle of the kitchen are proposed skylights . Thanks! Ray. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I have been thinking of steering away from the conventional style of kitchen the architect has drawn on here, and I really like gogo's kitchen with the wall of full height cupboasrds, and a working space on the other (our eastern wall). Not sue what the cost differential will be going for something like that - but I really do like it!
