Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 84Jan 19, 2010 4:21 pm Hi Losonogo, If and when you get a chance - would you be able to please draw up for me our original kitchen design but with some cupboards above the window/sink? We have seen this in a display home and it seems workable. Also is it possible to have our bench with waterfall ends? (not sure if that works in a u shape kitchen though) and in a charcoal/marbley black kind of colour? (You did our kitchen a couple of weeks ago on this thread). Thanks in advance, loving your work!! Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 85Jan 22, 2010 12:17 am Can i please get in line to? I am having my colour selections on the 1st feb and just want a general idea of what its going to look like. This is the plan: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I am wanting to have the pantry overhead cupboards and the cupboards above the fridge space in new graphite which is a medium grey colour. The benchtops will be vulcan stone. The overhead cupboards will all be level with the rangehood (which is hidden behine cupboards also). Next to the oven will be a set of 2 drawers on either side which will be white. All cupboards etc on the inside of the island will be white, the benchtops again will be vulcan stone. On the outer island there will be three sets of 3 drawers and i was thinking to be a bit different have the middle row or drawers in the new graphite as well but not sure if this will look ridiculous or not. So the top row and bottom row of drawers will be white. Flooring for the room will be a light grey colour. If you get a chance it will be much apprecaited. The other alternative is to have all areas i have mentioned to be 'new graphite' in 'black' laminex ahhhhh i dont know, i never thought i would be so stressed about this! V Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 86Jan 22, 2010 1:52 pm Thanks heaps Losogno!!!! Sorry I haven't replied- we have been away. I love what you have done to our kitchen design!! It looks terrific and I thank you so much for your time The only thing that appears to be incorrect is, we are not having any overhead cupboards over the stove top/rangehood wall. We are actually having two fixed glass panel windows on either side of the rangehood. But apart from that I really like it. Thanks again Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 99Jan 31, 2010 3:04 pm Gday Losonogo I would love to get in line. Unlike many others, ours is a renovation not an initial build. I have just used some grid paper to attempt to draw up the design we have been thinking (definately not exact). We will be having white cupboards (with edge molding) and a lightish fleck laminate benchtop. We have an older style house, so will be having knob handles and wood floors. We also have a very high ceiling. Where the staircase landing ends (runs off the edge of the page) is the edge of the room - there will be sliding doors there. For the pantry - cupboard from waist height up, deep drawers underneath would be good. Microwave about wall oven. Cupboard above, drawers below please. Would love your thoughts on whether you think this design will work / things about it that don't work.
