Hi everyone,
I love looking at everyone else's renovations, so thought I would start a new thread about ours.
It is a 35 year old house and it's really had nothing done to it during that time. We moved into the house in Jan this year. So far we've cleaned, painted, plastered some exposed brick walls and beams and got some new blinds.
We've recently started the kitchen reno. We are completely changing the layout.
Here are some photos of the original kitchen:

The exposed brick wall (now plastered). This was the difficult corner of the kitchen. It will be a corner pantry soon.

The new kitchen will be installed before Christmas. We haven't got the exact starting date yet.
Next weekend we need to finish ripping up the cork flooring, Adam (he's an electrician) needs to move the power, finish removing the wood from the wall and then we need a plasterer to finish off the roof.
Lots of work, but we cannot wait to see the finished product.
I'll post photos as we go.
