Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 25, 2009 6:47 pm Hi everyone,
I'm a first time poster, but have been reading the forum for months. There is so much wonderful information in here. We are getting a new kitchen in approx 4 weeks and we have ordered the following: Vinyl Wrap cabinets in polytech textured, colour: Mountain Pepper Caesar Stone 40mm bench tops, colour: Osprey I was just wondering if anyone has seen the textured polytech cupboards before??? Do they look okay? We liked the sample and thought it showed the least amount of finger prints, but it's not too late to change to a gloss/matt. I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks very much! Kate Re: Polytech - textured vinyl wrap, Mountain Pepper 2Oct 25, 2009 7:52 pm I had the textured Polytech in Alabaster when we renovated our last house in Melbourne. I personally loved it and found it no problem at all to keep clean. As for the look, I am not a gloss girl and that's why I preferred it anyway. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your kitchen!! Re: Polytech - textured vinyl wrap, Mountain Pepper 3Oct 25, 2009 8:12 pm Hi Katie, I looked at mountain pepper when we were making our colour choices. Very nice. We ended up chosing something different. We went with gloss but because there are no handles yet on some of the cupboards, you really can see the fingerprints. Its very annoying but i love the look of gloss so its a trade off. Re: Polytech - textured vinyl wrap, Mountain Pepper 5Oct 26, 2009 7:23 pm Hi Kate, This is my Polytech Alabaster textured kitchen in Melbourne (apologies to those who have seen this before ) - sorry it's not a very good or close up picture. I have some close-ups somewhere but DH is out and he is the only one who understands where everything is - maybe tomorrow he may be able to find one if you are still interested?
