Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 25, 2009 3:04 pm Hi Everyone, New around here. Been lurking as one of those dreaded 'guests' for a while now. Have to say, everyone has great looking kitchens! Looking at kitchen ideas for a for arenovation hopefully for the near future (current timeframe is between now and somwtime within the next century ). Had a look at the Caesarstone on their website yesterday when I came across the following picture: [url:****]http://www.caesarstone.com.au/Product.aspx?productId=2553[/url:****]. Does anyone know what the bulkhead-looking thingy between the benchtop and the bottom cabinetry is called? I'm really liking the look of it (as well as the colour of the Caesarstone - I believe it's called Urban - Me thinks that I should make the trek out to Alexandria to grab a few samples). Thanks for your help! Re: Feature under 2Oct 25, 2009 3:30 pm Slothario Does anyone know what the bulkhead-looking thingy between the benchtop and the bottom cabinetry is called? It looks like a shadowline, but the picture on the Caesarstone website looks to have the face of the bottom cabinets slightly behind the face of the shadowline, as opposed to the shots on the thread with the face of the cabinets slightly in front of the shadowline face - hence my thinking that it was a bulkhead-of-sorts. Maybe it's a variation, if anything. Best thing to do probably is take a clipping of it, put it in an 'ideas' folder, and take it with me when I sit down with a kitchen designer and do the whole thing legit. hmmm id assume youll get hit with the "natural product therefore variation in colour etc" excuse. How bad are we talking? One could argue that if none of the displays or… 3 2454 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16142 I want to build a bigger driveway (without a nature strip) than has been approved under my CDC.
