I quite like the look of the Westinghouse PDP790. Scores well in reviews and is in the price range. One thing I can't find are the internal dimensions. No-where do they seem to be listed. I know they're 595mm wide, but how wide is the internal width? I need to know if our oven pans and roasters will fit in. Anybody have or know somebody that has one that can take a quick measure for me???? Most Westinghouse ovens will be the same internal dimensions (except for any catalytic liners). Alternatively phone their national sales hotline. Re: Double Oven - what brand to go with? 24Feb 02, 2010 6:22 pm In our last house we put in a Fisher & Paykel 1 1/2 oven. Both were full function ovens & it was excellent. The actual space inside was bigger than the other popular brands & we have just purchased the same model for our new place. Having both fully functional was the best bit for us - we often cook roasts for 12+ & was so easy with this oven. Just my 2c worth..... Cheers Kim Re: Double Oven - what brand to go with? 25Feb 05, 2010 11:34 am cyberman Geez they must be stupid at Electrolux when they told me their stuff is made in China when it's really made in Germany. I think I just solved this. Reading through my manual that I recieved from electrolux it has an exmaple on a page on how to read the compliance sticker. On the example it says made in china. It probably the same example used in all electrolux/chef/westinghouse etc. Guess the call centre doesnt have all the items sitting on there desk ready to turn around and check out they rely on electronic copies stored somewhere. Hence where i believe they got that from. Rather funny if you ask me. Re: Double Oven - what brand to go with? 27Feb 04, 2011 12:45 pm Nerak - I love my bosch oven. I have no problems with it. I have used both ovens and grills. I move my shelves around regularly, so I'm glad I didn't go with the electrolux. I have made cakes, baked dinners, pies, all sorts and haven't had any problems. Re: Double Oven - what brand to go with? 28Mar 17, 2011 8:28 am Hi guys Great to read all your coments. I too am trying to decide between Bosch,Neff and Electrolux double oven. just when I think I have decided something else come up and I am back to square one. I like the idea of a double oven as you can use one or the other depending on how much cooking you need to do. Re: Double Oven - what brand to go with? 29Mar 20, 2011 5:08 pm hey impatient how do you find the grill with the bosch? is it an in oven grill open/closed door? I'm looking at this one b/c our old oven has a seperate grill which we use on a regular basis, but i'm not too sure about this whole in oven grilling? and do you mind if I ask how much you paid? Initially i was looking at the westinghouse double( b/c i have a westinghouse) but have heard bad things about glass shattering etc, so am a bit scared of going down that track, my dad says electrolux is crap so not sure what to do... Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent. 4 5727 I am in a difficult situation.
