It comes on at 5am in the morning - switches itself off at 10pm and self cleans - yep I'm lazy. You can see it here; http://www.au.jura.com/home_au_x/products_home_use/z_line/impressa_z5_generation2_chrome.htm I have to say though my father in law has a Nespresso and I do enjoy the pods aswell Re: Good Coffee Machine 42Jan 23, 2010 4:55 pm See Coffeegeek! I have read many of those comments but I came to the conclusion that a) most of the anti Breville posts were inputted by their competition ie Sunbeam - lets just slag off at them - but I notice Sunbeam have now had to offer a free grinder to go with their machine - presumably to keep up; and b) I suppose some coffee snobs can pick the difference in their coffee between a gaggia and a rancillio and whether the bean is 3 days old or a fortnight old, but I am bugged if I can - I just enjoy the coffee and that includes what I have been able to make out of my Breville. cheers Re: Good Coffee Machine 44Jan 23, 2010 5:49 pm We've had a Saeco Magic for about 10 years. Very happy in spite of the need for several new boilers over the years. Now we have an inbuilt Miele. I have NO doubt that, under it's shiny SS exterior, it's a Saeco in disguise. No matter - fill it with Rio Royal beans and spring water and I still get better coffee at home than anywhere else. The crema is always perfect! As snobby as I will get when it comes to coffee is "boring instant" vs "real coffee", in my very technical language there! As long as it tastes good to me, I'm a happy camper! I'm sure the fully automated machines they have at Ikea are nothing fancy, but I love a good cup or two every time I go there! Tastes good to me!!
