I'm sticking a bit of mini-orb with trim on the breakfast bar in a vertical position underneath the benchtop. The wall is brick with plaster render and painted. I have all the gear and know how to cut and measure but the gluing and trimming has me a bit worried.
I want it seemless so to speak and plan to use tiny pop rivets along the overlaps. I can get a hold of the trim in different forms from bunnings and wonder whether to glue the trim onto the wall or to screw it - but into brick with what?
Also what is the best glue to use for mini-orb? Should I go with liquid nails or is there a better product? I plan to scor the surface it is going to be glued to.
Advice appreciated.
I have alot of experience in home building but have not done this stuff before.
