KEYS ON 5/11 AT 1PM Re: HIGH GLOSS CUPBOARD DOORS 2Oct 19, 2009 11:28 am Hi Camy, I had high gloss two pack in our old house - they do chip especially on the corners however there are places that fix them pretty easily (I think it was expensive though) - mind you it was really easy to clean them and they looked nice. In our current build we are just going laminex - didn't see the expense as worth it IMO. regards Lisa PD Marina 42 Mariposa Contract signed 20 July 2009 Permits in 2 Oct 2009 Construction start 22 Oct 2009 www.broquemansion.blogspot.com Re: HIGH GLOSS CUPBOARD DOORS 3Oct 19, 2009 11:56 am same as above - just sold a place which I owner built. it had emporite (2k sprayed cabinets) which looked great... downfall is they chip easy if you arent careful putting away pots & pans we're now building with big M and decided on laminex cupboards in the kitchen with stone tops Re: HIGH GLOSS CUPBOARD DOORS 5Oct 19, 2009 5:39 pm I have the 2 pac doors, I have been in my house 5 months now and have had nothing to do to clean them I just dust them and if something spills down them I wipe them with a damp cloth and buff with a clean dry tea towel. I have them in bathrooms and laundry also and have no trouble with them. I will have them again as I think they make such an impact on the overall effect of the said rooms Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Re: HIGH GLOSS CUPBOARD DOORS 6Oct 19, 2009 6:06 pm Hi Thanks to you all for your replys, I think I will just jump in and get them and hope for the best, as I realy like them and I agree to do add to the look My building thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25279 NEARLY DONE. I have 2 pak as well, I love it, it is easy to clean but unlike Taffy I live with pigs and constantly find dribbles of whatever down my doors and have already had a couple of scratches that I wasn't going to tell you all about because it upset me so, but my kitchen man sent over some touch up paint I still would have it again Re: HIGH GLOSS CUPBOARD DOORS 10Oct 19, 2009 8:31 pm Join the club Suh. Thats what they had on display in the prestart area and had all the samples. Said it costs a little bit extra though. I hate it when I clear and wipe down the breakfast bar then DH comes in and dumps his sunnies, wallet, keys golf tees and anything else he has in his pockets on there I get the occassional tea or coffee dribble down the front from when the empty the teabags in the bin In the next house I am definately going to spent the extra money on soft closing pot draws as they are so heavy handed when they open and close them and they make so much noise.
